First thing first. Before getting into the game, there are a couple of settings you should check out first, and customize as necessary in order to get a better experience, and to make it easier to survive and achieve more kills.

1. Select Third Person View or First Person View

You can choose between third person view, and first person view. For this, start the app ( not the match/game) and tap on the game mode button just below ‘Start’. Here choose either ‘TPP’ (third person), or ‘FPP’ (first person) mode.

2. Changing Graphics Settings in PUBG Mobile

The graphics settings are automatically set to a default settings best optimized as per your phone’s specs. However, should you wish to change it, you can do so to a higher or lower settings. A higher graphics quality setting will definitely make it easier to spot other enemies and enhance in game experience. But this will consume more resource and your phone may start heating up or start lagging. In that case, you should change the graphics to lower settings. No point having a clearer when you can’t play smoothly.

3. Using the Peek and Fire Option

Go to Settings (that gear icon on the top-right). In the Basic tab, turn on ‘Peek & Fire.’ This allows you to peek from behind cover, allowing you to take shots without full exposure of your body. Keep in mind, you’ll still expose your head (otherwise how will you peek and shoot? lol. You will get some time to effectively use it. But once you get it, it’s very effective.

4. Gyroscope for Aiming Down Sights. Did you Know This Before?

One of PUBG Mobile’s great feature is the ability to use your smartphone’s gyroscope to aim. This can be incredibly helpful when aiming down sights, or when you’re scoped in since you’ll be able to move your phone to aim at enemies instead of having to touch and drag on the screen.
