It’s been a year now since the launch of PUBG in console, and since the 1.0 launch , the developing team of PUBG console have added a ton of exciting content to the game, including a winter themed map, a weapon progression system, and a ledge grab mechanic, among other things, but this 4th season update may be the biggest one yet for PUBG for console, with the arrival of the highly anticipated Erangel visual update and Survivor Pass 4: aftermath.

in addition, they’re introducing the DBS’ bullpup style double barrel shotgun action to the Battlegrounds, and launching the second phase of our mastery system called Survival Mastery.

: Aftermath will allow players to unlock over 100 Erangel-themed rewards as you level up. they’ve also added cooperative missions, which allow the community to work together towards goals and milestones. As you achieve these milestones together, new rewards are unlocked.
There’s a new crate weapon too: a double-barrelled, pump-action DBS shotgun. That could be useful for hairy, close-quarters encounters as it holds 14 shells and fires two shots a second. In addition, PUBG Corp tweaked the effectiveness of some weapons, made shotgun use more consistent, squished some bugs and added some other features. You can also use healing items while walking — previously, you had to stop moving to activate them.
Next, cross platform play is now live to PUBG on consoles! This has been, hands down, the most requested feature since the launch on consoles and you must be so happy to finally get this for your console.
